Quality Inn Pavilion

We did not schedule to stay here, we were forced to stay here when we discovered our room had been given away. Overbooking should be illegal! When I walked in at midnight to book a room the guy at the front desk was courteous and professional. Given the time and probably my appearance he had to know he had me over a barrel. He could have charged me three times the room rate and I would have paid it, but he didn't. That kind of honesty and integrity is rare. All though the hotel has probably seen better days, the grounds were well kept. Also worth mentioning, after HEAVY inspection by my wife the beds were clean, the carpet looked brand new and the rest of the room was clean too. I should point out that this place was literally 1/10th the cost of the original room we booked. Full disclosure: I will probably continue to stay at 4 star hotels, but if I were on a budget and wanted to bring my family to the beach I would absolutely stay here. Addendum: after a LOT of huffing and puffing we did get something worked out with our original hotel and we were staying ON THE BEACH, but for the remainder of the trip my 10 year old son kept asking if we could go back to the Ambassador. The reason... he liked the beds. Not kidding!

Before choosing this hotel I analyzed several reviews where they spoke badly of this establishment. Still I wanted to take a chance thinking there were some exaggerations. I broke my face...................I HAVE NEVER BEEN HOSTED BEFORE IN A HOTEL SO WRONG!!! I took some photos and am posting here to show the reality of this hotel as to CLEANSHIP. There are 6 photos, the first two are from the first room and the other four from the second room. When we entered the room I was horrified with the bathroom all dirty, with mijo and cocô in private ( Photos 1 and 2 ). When I went to request the room change the receptionist gave a "ironical" laugh when seeing the photos, but changed our room. When we arrived in the second room I was even more abyss with the dirt found ( photos 3, 4, 5, 6 ). Bed linen with the appearance of not having been washed/hygienized, carpet with a lot of dirt (haired, dust, paper and food residues). We slept badly and left the other day exhaling a lot, with a cough and a clogged nose. This hotel is really awful, it is not worth staying in it, I hope never to pass or near it again. Unfortunately I have to speak very badly about this lodging. I had no misunderstanding, I was even well served by the hotel reception. However, I must say that I have never felt so bad about the cleanliness and hygiene of this establishment. IT HAS NO CONCERNS ABOUT THE WELL-BEING AND HEALTH OF THE GUESTS.

I cannot beg people enough to avoid this poo hole at all costs. They should be paying people to stay here. Among the list of things we had: Shower dirty and barely working; mold on the sink; no working TV; noisy fridge; non-functioning light; and the door broke...causing us to make about five trips to the front desk and be held hostage in our room for almost an hour. What's worse - the staff were unapologetic, rude, and refused to even consider discounting our room. A travesty that a place like this continues to operate and steal people of their money. DO NOT STAY HERE!
