Red Roof Inn Virginia Beach

Smelled like smoke in a non-smoking room. Didn't feel clean the whole time we were there. Soap and hair tie from previous guest was still in the shower. When we asked for them to come in and clean it while we were out, we came back and they had made a show of cleaning the bathroom but the old soap and hair tie were STILL there!

Paid over $300- front desk folks nice no about. But alas- easily the dirtiest and most alarming hotel I have ever stayed in. (And I am a low budget touring musician). Looked like someone had tried to claw their way out of the bathroom so they just punched some holes in the wall instead. Broken lighters on the floor. Ungodly stains on the bedsheets. Truly bonkers.

The hotel was not clean, the bathroom light didn’t work, and the bed broke one pump into my friend and couldn’t finish. But overall what an experience.
