BASSETT MOTEL

Old fashion motel. Looks out of date, but the beds and linens were very comfortable. Bathroom linens are past their prime and should be replaced. Rooms exceptionally and thoroughly clean in all aspects. AC works well. Refrigerator and Microwave if needed. Quiet. One bathroom receptacle, but it worked well enough for 2 people. Really only one concern - rooms lack the interior swing bar security latch that most all other hotel/motels have. Would be a good addition along with the towels! I've stayed at Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton and Banyan Tree hotels on several continents and unless I'm in a resort vacation mode I really only want clean, comfortable night's sleep, safe and quiet. This little motel provided that.

Arrived and place looked run down but looked over it. Got inside and the place smelled horrible. The bathroom was extremely dirty. Cigarette burns in the bed sheets and dirt all over the walls . My wife’s asthma got horrible and couldn’t breathe. We booked a different hotel and left after only being there an hour. Spend a little more money and stay in a different place.

The person who checked me in was nice. The room is older, but it seemed clean. I think there are long term residents here, which I don't really like, but it was okay for one night. It was near the places we wanted to see, so it worked out okay
