The Historic Powhatan Resort

Only there for one night but our stay was goid

Everything about this poperty is excellent. Very comfortable 1 bedroom unit. The grounds are beautiful and the proximity to the Historic Triangle sites is especially convenient. Tou nust keep in mind that this is not a hotel, there is no housekeeping service. This is also a timeshare resort so there is a rather aggressive effort to have you sit through one of there high pressure sales presentations. The $28.00 per day "Resort Fee" is rather steep unless you are there to just stay on the property and are able to take advantage of all the many ammenties that are available. Wewere gone morning till night visiting all the historic sites so we did not receive any value from the resort fees paid. We still really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back and maybe be able to take advantage of everything this property has to offer.

Resort has beautiful grounds and timeshare stay perfect. Unit very clean and nicely furnished. Staff very friendly and helpful. First experience with a resort having “adults only pool” so it was very relaxing. Close to restaurants and food shopping. Only one minor problem was not having tv guide on screen, so locating a particular station was challenging. I highly recommend this resort.
