Best Western Lighthouse Suites Inn

Hello Lighthouse Suites, I LUV LUV LUV spending Quality time at their Suites! I purchased 1 wk for myself Tami, Jami her 2 dogs. In stead of staying on the 4th floor they transferred us to the first floor. It was perfect for her dogs & us! We had our own patio with chairs, the dogs are small we were able to walk them around outside! Lighthouse created a rock staircase we were able to walk down to the Ocean! Really Kool to have easy access to the Ocean! The first lady we meet her name is Tammy, mine is Tami! The other lady's name is Jamie & my sisters name is Jami!!! We all laughed what a coincidence! We had a fake fireplace that was great, a kitchen, bathroom with bath tub & shower, 2 queen size beds plenty of room for us & her 2 dogs! Also heated swimming pool inside the Suite & some of their rooms have a jacuzzi! We could of stayed in the room that had that but, we brought her 2 dogs we stayed on the ground floor, it was GREAT! Next time I'm coming without animals I will come alone or with a Sober Sista (I have 17+ yrs sober!) Again everyone was so Sincere, Nice, Honest, really great people! Soooooo much fun!!! Thank you Lighthouse staff ♡♡♡ This is Tami the goofy blonde my sisters name is Jami & her 2 dogs! All of you made my vacation even better! The cuisine was delicious we ate out everyday! I wish I could remember the restraunts names? I apologize but, all the restraunts were good! Plus they sell delisious chocolates & Taffy is MUST BUY! THE VERY BEST! Theirs a funky little Cafe that makes breakfas & lunch their located on the main road! Really pretty lady works their! Great hamburgers & fries! Atmosphere around this little town was great not too many people, not too many families JUST PERFECT! I will be returning in October this yr or March next yr! Again stay @ Lighthouse Suites! Basically the room was large, clean and comfortable. There were amenities as expected. For normal people, it would be a 5 rating. I did find the room darker after sunset than it should be. The staff were friendly and helpful. The maintenance man was especially helpful. Breakfast had a lot of choices and someone was on hand to assist. The TV had more shows to watch than we usually find, but do NOT try to turn the TV toward the bed to watch it. The cable comes loose and the bureau is heavy to move to fix it. However, the room was an accessible room. My hubby can walk slowly with a walker but also has to use a wheelchair. The room was almost as far away from the elevator as it can be. The sofa was low and difficult for him to get out of so he couldn’t relax in it. The bathroom was really small to try to accommodate either the walker or the wheelchair. There was only a grab bar on the wall by the tub. It would have helped if one was by the toilet. They had a bench for the shower so he was able to shower but there was no hand held shower sprayer so he had to turn on and off the shower to soap up and rinse off. I will have to look for an accessible room elsewhere and hope it is more accommodating if we come back this way again.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. Their breakfast menu included a frittata, rolled pancakes stuffed with blueberries (very yummy) and tasty biscuits and sausage among many other choices. The indoor pool and area are always tidy. The location makes it so easy to be on the beach in minutes. Best of all, the view!
