TULIP INN

This an older motel, but very convenient location for visiting the tulip fields. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very helpful. There's some noise from the nearby freeway. Breakfast is offered and we were pleasantly surprised at the selection of nice muffins, yogurts, fruit and breakfast sandwiches. The lobby was too small for dining, but you could take it all to your room easily. One drawback was few outlets for charging devices.

Pros: The staff were helpful and accommodating. The continental breakfast is truly grab and go, but the coffee was tasty. Nice sized rooms. Cons: This is a highway motel so must ask for first floor unless you want to climb stairs. The beds were hard as rocks and amongst the worst I’ve encountered.

The hotel was convenient they accommodated me on an early check-in the room was clean but very dated. The it was close to in location to pretty much everything you want to see in the Mount Vernon area
