QUALITY INN AND SUITES

Not what we saw in their photos. Very disappointing. Daughter drove 6 hrs to get here. We tried to leave, couldn’t get a credit.

My husband and I were on our way to our honeymoon in Japan for two weeks but had a 17 hour layover in Seattle. Figured we'd see some sights and get a good night's sleep before our overseas flight. We wanted something affordable and just a quick ride into downtown. There was a rail station near the Space Needle, just a short walking distance from the hotel, so that wasn't too bad. Check in was smooth because it was evening by then. I didn't know about the recent hotel renovations until I got to our floor and was very shocked to see exposed cables running along the ceiling. Our room was a definite shock. Absolutely nothing like the pictures on the website. Our room's walls had stains and mold like spotting on the ceiling. The bathroom was pretty crammed with a really nice vanity but ancient toilet. Since our time was short in the city, we were only in the hotel to sleep that night. We went out for dinner, so grabbing an Uber was quite easy and quick to get to Public Market Center. Since we wanted to be up early enough to grab a nice Seattle breakfast downtown we skipped the complimentary hot buffet in the hotel. We did pop in for some juice and thought the set up was nice. Lots of choices. If we visited again, we most definitely would choose a different hotel and pay a little more.

The location if this hotel was perfect. Close to Space Needle monorail system. This is actually really good since the shuttle service they offer is only from 8am-2pm at best. I picked this hotel partly because of the hotel partly for the shuttle from and to the airport. Made a reservation to airport pick up and thought I was good. I called the day before only to find out the shuttle only runs until 2pm. Hotel stay was excellent on directions. They were extremely professional and always attentive to needs. The hot breakfast that is included consists of scrambled eggs sausage patties and links and chicken sausage and biscuits. They also make make your own waffles and cold items. Hotel under construction but was quiet. Again this is a great location. Would try again once renovation is complete
