Fun hotel and great for a trip with my family.

Aveent was THE WORST PERSON TO DEAL WITH!!!!! The room is 68 dollars but a deposit of 150?! U know I wouldn’t have gotten the room but she decides to tell me about the huge deposit AFTER SHE CHARGES FOR THE ROOM!!!! Who does that? Ever hotel tells u the deposit u pay then the room charge. They do this on purpose so u can’t get your money back. I’m literally telling anyone who will listen corporate is getting a complaint, her DOG is getting a complaint. HORRIBLE!!!!

My husband and I flew in late at night and arrived at the hotel at 0230. The staff preceded to tell us that since we arrived late, he wouldn’t give us the key to our hotel room and was going to give it to someone else. Even though we had already paid for it. I specifically chose this hotel because there was no ending checkout time. All it said online was anytime after 3pm we could check in. He told us we would need to pay for the room a second time to which we absolutely refused. This went on for 30 minutes of arguing with him. At the end, he said he was joking and just wanted to see “how we would take it”. It felt like he was trying to get more money out of us and it felt very “scam-like”. My husband and I were extremely frustrated. We were exhausted from a long travel day. This was not the warm welcoming that you usually hope for at a hotel. He also informed us that a week prior, a young couple came in and tried checking in around 3am too and he gave them a hard time as well. He said he didn’t tell the couple he was joking until the girl was in tears and begging for a place to stay for the night. He said he found it hilarious “messing with people”. I have never been more upset with a hotel and their staff in my life. The ONLY positive was that the bed was comfortable and we were exhausted so we slept well.
