Green Gables Inn

We stayed at the GG for two nights on a lovely overcast weekend on a leg of our tour. We were immediately greeting by the adorable Karrie at the door with charcuterie and wine offerings. We had no idea how good we were about to have it as the stay had been arranged for us by another party. Not only were we wined and dined, we got some of the best sleep we have had in a long time! Everything is thoughtfully arranged and the love is oozing out of this place. We enjoyed so many little luxuries including good hair products in the shower, lovely robes, and a nespresso machine in the room. We are huge coffee drinkers so this was a special treat! We feel like the community of Walla Walla has truly touched us from our stay at the GG to our experience headlining Freya Fair. I know nothing about Louis Vuitton and luxury brands. I was pleasantly surprised to the history and knowledge Karrie shared with us about her collection and the history of the brand. It was like getting a glimpse into other people’s lives. As an artist, I am always in awe of how others express their own art and this collection is truly an artistic landscape to enjoy. Thank you so much for your time and energy Karrie. The GG Mansion & Inn is not just a B&B —it is a destination in itself. Owned and lovingly curated by Karrie and Connie, the most gracious twin hosts you could hope to meet, this remarkable mansion combines luxury, artistry, hospitality and unforgettable experiences in a way few properties ever achieve. Every suite is unique, beautifully designed and filled with thoughtful details. Beyond the guest rooms, the entire property feels like a living gallery of treasures and collections gathered with extraordinary care and taste. There is something beautiful and unexpected around every corner. The location is ideal—quiet and peaceful, yet only a short walk from downtown Walla Walla's restaurants, wine tasting rooms and shops. What truly sets the GG apart, however, is the experience. Karrie has mastered the art of hospitality. Whether arranging wine experiences, sharing local recommendations, or hosting intimate chef-prepared dinners at the mansion, they create memories rather than simply accommodations. The newly redesigned gardens are spectacular, providing beautiful spaces to relax and unwind. During our latest visit, we even spotted a baby owl in the backyard, one of those magical moments that perfectly captures the charm of this property. If you're looking for a generic luxury hotel, this isn't it. If you're looking for a place with soul, character, beauty and hosts who genuinely care about creating an extraordinary stay, the GG is incomparable. Five stars aren't enough.

Carrie was an amazing host and arranged the best private wine tour ever - a huge shout out to Maddie for being our driver. Every restaurant Carrie recommended was divine. And the Mansion - wow and wow. We had a beautiful suite with a balcony and the breakfasts were par none. The outside patio had all new furniture with tons of seating options and was very private and quiet. The only regret is that I couldn’t walk away with one of trunks/purses from Carrie’s amazing Louis Vuitton collection 😊 Thank you for such a wonderful and relaxing stay
