Mardi Gras Casino & Resort

Great place lots of fun. I spent 50 first machine and won 160

We booked our stay with Mardi Gras to enjoy some gambling and to go to a nearby concert. At a time when most hotels and especially casinos are cutting back on amenities Mardi Gras recent renovations and their newly added breakfast was a refreshing surprise. Every item was clearly made by someone who cares about how they present their food as well as the quality and variety. They actually had real eggs and granola with all the toppings. It is a small area but everyone was in and out quickly due to it being laid out so well. No bottlenecks or people lingering over items. The fruit was fresh and looked and tasted very good. Including the bananas which are usually over ripe and not appealing at most hotel breakfasts. Bacon was crisp and not floating in grease. Dining area is very nice and you can even eat out on the terrace if you like that. (not my cup of tea but to each his own). Told the staff at the front desk how nice it was and they gave us the name of the chef who prepares the meals and her name is Nina and want to thank her for her care and attention to detail. Also, a shoutout to the front desk staff that let us know who this wonderful lady was. Thanks Melanie and Kristen for taking time to chat about the wonderful updates to the hotel and the breakfast. Another shout out to the security staff, players club staff and servers. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Players club staff even gave us a card for our casino host without even having to ask for it. Will be back soon.

We enjoy our stay at Mardi Gras , it is laid back through the week and easy to navigate after being there a few times. We enjoy the incentives we get and we try to use them for a trip here at least each month. Love the bar and screen tvs for watching games . We usually travel here through the week days . The music is good , nice rooms , nice breakfast , have always had good food. Love this casino and it’s location.
