Holiday Inn Oak Hill-new River Gorge

My family and I stayed during the National Scouting Jamboree and had a great time. The staff was very hospitable. I recommend this hotel if you are taking advantage of the many outdoor activities available in the area.

The remodel looks great and the staff are friendly and helpful. Hospitality room and bsthrooms are clean and stocked! And a great location. I will be telling people about the Holiday Lodge! Thanks to them all for helping with out 53rd class reunion!

Hello from Indiana. My husband and I set off on a grand adventure across West Virginia. No set plan other than enjoying what this piece of the world offers. We stopped in at the Holiday Lodge, only really looking to stay one night. The staff were pleasant, accommodating, and helpful. The hotel was clean and newly remodeled with beautiful blue carpet. Room and bathroom were clean and furnished with essentials and a mini fridge. There was plenty of storage in the dresser and closet. Even the bathroom offered extra space. As we laid there looking for our next adventure, we realized how close we were to so many gems. This area offers hiking, mountain tram, off roading, boat rentals, river adventures and much more. The drive is often less than an hour. When we awoke the next morning, we made our way to breakfast. The food was hot and plentiful. They offered sausage, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and many other items. As we sat and ate our breakfast we knew.... we were going to stay another night. The only downside at this time is the pool and restaurant are not open yet. They are making progress though! This hotel is activly being remodeled. Although there are people working, you stay in an all finished wing, and will not be disturbed by noise. We will be returning in the future.
