EAU CLAIRE WISCINSIN - AMERICAS BEST VALUE INN CAMPUS Claremont Ave. - Was checked into 3 different rooms. Pluming problems. One room bath tube was full of water from dripping water. Tubs and sinks not draining. AC not funtioning. Complained to front desk then was asked to leave. Today is May 29, 2021 - leaving the hotel was told my card would be credited 3 to 7 biz days. Calling manager changing story to 7 to 8 biz day. Complaint was file with County Health Department. Do not trust this property. They also made a Copy of my ID. FRAUD! Not saying what they where doing in the back office with my card and ID.

I stayed in the King whirlpool Suite. Relaxing & just what I needed. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean but had a musty smell when I first walked in. After movement the smell disappeared. The front desk attendant,Tate, was very helpful& courteous. I didn't get a chance to swim in the pool or enjoy the hot tub but they both looked inviting. The breakfast was good, better than average for an older hotel. The Irish Pub in the hotel was a plus. I would definitely stay again when in the Eau Claire area.

Rooms and very large and comfortable. Despite being built in 1968, this hotel has managed to make updates as needed and keep up with the times. Very convenient dog area that is accessible from most dog rooms through a sliding patio door. Hotel is unique with two large pools, indoor and outdoor. Front desk staff very friendly and professional. Prices reasonable. Highly recommended!
