This is an older motel close to the freeway and very cheap so we were concerned that there might be some problems. All the TripAdvisor reviews rated it highly so we booked and stayed. In all it was excellent, the proprietor was very friendly at checkin and we got a small goodies and snack pack when we arrived. The upstairs room was excellent. The carpet looked a little wore but that was the worst of it. The beds seemed new and no sag and were very comfortable and we slept very well. Even close to the freeway there was no noise. Would highly recommend this hotel to all travellers.

What a wonderful find for a quant motel. Sag, at the check in desk, was very gracious and fun to talk to. Check in was quick and easy. He even gave us a welcome gift. Room price was exceptional for a Friday night. This place has been completely refurbished!! The room was immaculate. Beds were so comfortable, we both slept amazingly. It's easy to get to right off I94 in Hudson. It's close to gas and places to eat. Easy access to I94. We will definitely be staying here again next spring on our return from FL.

I'm never disappointed when I stay at Royal Inn. Everything is clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The staff is helpful and very welcoming. I won't stay anywhere else.
