Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Mattress was especially good as you could not feel movement on the other side of the bed. Nice linens too. Seems to be only 1 elevator which was extremely slow, such that we used the stairs and observed many others do the same. Nice carpeted stairwells with windows!
Breakfast was a disappointment. The same exact thing every day and we were there 4. Same meat, same 3 cereals, same baked goods, same fruit (apple/orange). The breakfast attendants appeared as if they wished they were anywhere BUT in the breakfast service area and the area looked like it. The floor was sticky. 3/4 of the days we had to ask for plates or bowls because there weren't any. Spills on the serving areas were just left. Spills on the floor continued to get walked through and tracked around.
Desk attendants were helpful when needed. Entryway often had stray litter on the floor and parking lot had trash blowing around. First appearances make a difference. This hotel has too much nearby competition to not care about such things.

This hotel is in a great location just off the major highways.
The beds are comfortable and the location is clean.
They have a really neat spa/restaurant in the second building.
They are pet friendly.
The only thing I’d recommend, is a little personality education for the staff. The front desk guy when we checked in, did his job and that was the extent of it. When we went down for the extremely good breakfast in the morning, the chef stood over like he was security or something. Maybe they have a problem with people who don’t have reservations coming in to have breakfast. Either way it’s felt really weird.

Let’s begin with the good. It was clean. I was on a girls trip to Madison a friend booked it because of location for what we were doing and we’ve stayed in Wyndham Garden Inns before and they are usually nice and roomy. If I had not been exhausted when I got there I would have left. It was clean but very out dated and I thought I heard something scratching near the ac - off and on all weekend. The bathroom had a shower from literally 1982 (my parents had the tub version) fully enclosed curved fiberglass. It was clean but when you stepped in it the floor bounced a bit. It gave me vertigo. The closet looked like it was from the 70s - narrow door. When you walk in the lobby there are gambling machines. (Is that a thing in WI?)We woke up early the next morning to the sound of men yelling. I looked out of our second floor window and there was a tall scissor lift with guys scraping and painting right above our window. We booked in advance and paid $175 a night. When we were in the elevator checking out I asked a couple if they had the weird shower and they had a regular bathtub so maybe part is updated. I don’t know, but beware.
