Comfort Suites (Lake Geneva)

I arrived on the 12th of March 2026. I was only staying one night. The front area was being redone there was paint and plastic and canisters all over the place making it hard to get to the room I was charged $50 deposit telling me that it would be returned within 7 to 10 days. After checking out about 2 weeks after I checked out I have not received my deposit I never received a call from the manager I left voice messages on the phone as the person answering the phone to have the manager called me back and was never contacted. I've called several times asking for my money to be returned and still nothing. I'm greatly disappointed and I don't recommend this hotel at all the room was nice and spacious I had coffee in the room but no coffee pot that was later brought to me I also didn't have any place to put the coffee in the coffee pot that was later brought to me the room itself besides this little thing with the coffee was fine

Reasonable prices, nice location, but older establishment. The room definitely needs updating. We were wondering why our heater kept running come to find out on the last day the window was left alittle open (curtain was closed the whole time). Front desk was nice and house keeping was attentive. Breakfast was free and just bleh.

The most uncomfortable hotel beds I've experienced in a great while. Hard, lumpy, with huge sagging dents. The bed springs creaked loudly upon the slightest movement. The mattress on the sofa bed was paper thin and disgusting; absolutely covered in large stains which were prominently displayed as we had to make the bare mattress ourselves using the meager supply of linens we found in the closet. The rest of the property was fine, staff was efficient and the location, while not the greatest, was serviceable. But at the end of the day we booked a room here because we needed a place to sleep and this property did not functionally meet that need.
