There was a group of us that used 6 rooms. Walking in the hotel did not have a very pleasant oder. One room my sister-in-law had to clean the toilet seat & part of the bathroom floor. Another room had no soap (and shampoo, lotion, etc)…no hand soap was the biggest issue. Another room when the lights were turned off no electrical outlets worked, so in order to use the C-pap they had to sleep with the light (on the ceiling) on. Yet another room had a leaky toilet. This is the Shawano location.

First off, I have to say that the person that checked us in was friendly and professional and was quick to provide extra pillows when requested.
That said, the room was disgusting and if it had not been after 9 PM and the only place in town with an available room in town we would not have stayed.
The room itself was disgusting. Walking in your were immediately struck with the smell of wet dog and the air itself was damp. The floor had bits of something on it clearly indicating it had not been properly vacuumed. The bathroom had dead bugs under the sink and a booger(?) in the sink. Pulling back the top cover of the bed revealed numerous stains of an unknown sort.
The sheets and pillow case appeared to be clean and freshly changed and we were tired so we went to bed. The bed itself was fine, but the air conditioner made odd noises on and off all night. That along with strange dampness of the room made it difficult to sleep.
In the morning putting on our clothes, they felt damp from just being in the room.
We skipped breakfast and let promptly.
This hotel was a previous Super 8, which while not your high end hotel, could at least be counted on to be clean.
We will not be staying again!

Booked a queen “suite” for 3. “Futon” was hard vinyl. No bedding for the futon in the room. Went to the front desk and was initially given 1 sheet, a blanket and pillows. Request for a mattress pad was denied. Request for a bottom sheet was debated. Queen bed was hard as a kitchen countertop. Husband elected to sleep in the car. Rated a 2 vs 1 as the property was relatively clean.
