WESTWOOD SHORES WATERFRONT RST

Westwood Shores has a lot of good things going on. There is the lake - which is the biggest asset. All rooms face the lake, private patios allow you to dine on the lake, there are nice Adirondacks chairs along the shore, the pool is near the lake, there are paddle boats available, and there are fabulous sunsets over the lake. We stayed in a Premier Two Bedroom Suite, which meant it was closest to the water. Our suite had two bedrooms and two baths which suited the needs of two women traveling together. The space was roomy, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The suites are not what I would consider “luxury”, but are nicely traditional with lots of pine furniture and comfortable living room seating. Upgrading the beds and worn bedding would bring the standards up a notch. The beds were my only disappointment. Our suite was at the very end of one of the wings so it was an unusually long haul to our room. Westwood seems a particularly nice place for families because of the roomy suites and amenities.

Wonderful first stay at Westwood Shores. Great view from the second floor room and extremely large balcony. Area was nice and secluded, nothing to walk to if you're looking for that, but an easy drive. Drove around entire peninsula in a couple hours and had a beautiful evening watching the sunset from the balcony.

Fantastic stay! Clean, comfortable and an absolutely beautiful place on the water. The best part was the exceptionally friendly staff. Luke was so welcoming and the day staff was great as well.
