My husband, adult daughter and I stayed at the Inn for a family members wedding. We enjoyed the inn and the surrounding area of Wausau. The check in was easy. Parking was plentiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was so quiet. We never heard outside noise or neighbors during the whole stay. The beds and pillows were comfortable. My favorite part was the attached mall. We were there during an ice storm and did not have to go outside to get specialty coffee or dinner. We did venture out for lunch at The Mint for lunch. It was literally across the parking lot from the inn. It was so good. A lot of places so close to walk. We were busy with wedding celebrations so we did not get to explore too much. We want to go back and would definitely stay at The Jefferson Street Inn when we return.

Room was not cleaned. Had to request towels after the first night for my family to shower. Front desk was terrible. Stood waiting for a response for an absurd amount of time while staff negotiate a discount for a booking.com reservation. Walked away without being helped. Hotel is a maze inside. Requires multiple elevators to get to room. Each location requires a room key. Circled the block twice looking for parking. Had to move from what I assumed was hotel parking or get towed. It’s just confusing. So many options in the area. This was a mistake.

Great hotel, perfect downtown location, beautiful room, friendly staff. I am unable to identify and negatives. Will stay again.
