Overall, the hotel met our expectations. 5 night stay during the last week of June, leaving July 3. 1. Location - Good. Only a few minutes drive from downtown square. We never used the free shuttle as parking was free and easy to find downtown. Atmosphere - Nice. Lodge feel in hallways and outside. For the price, we liked the decor that matched the area (more like a boutique feel) vs. a standard hotel feel. Onsite parking was free and always had a spot available in the lot. Do your research and look at all pictures people have posted and google maps satellite views that you can find. This will give you a better feel for the actual location than the pictures on the hotel website. 2. Rooms - We had a standard queen room. It also had a sofa, minifridge and coffee bar. 4 adults in room, we had enough space to be comfortable. Bathroom was huge as compared to a standard hotel bathroom. While only one sink, my spouse and I had enough counterspace to get ready at the same time. 3. Value - We researched a lot for what the price was we were willing to pay and we found that this location met our expectation as compared to other alternatives. You have to have the correct expectations. This is more of a hotel than a resort. From a room and overall amenities standpoint, I would compare it to a springhill suites/courtyard/standard Marriott combination. Jackson Hole is a overpriced area in general, so you can't let the price drive your expectation. If you want a resort feel, you'll have to pay double the price at the actual resorts or Autograph collection hotels. I'm typically biased toward Marriott properties but even the springhill suite in the area was higher price and I'm not sure for the value I would have gotten more than what this hotel provided (If price was equal I would have chosen marriott only to get the bonvoy points, but this hotel for me was about $200 cheaper for total stay and had a bit more of a boutique feel). Also, if you book several months in advance check their website often to see if any better promo's have been launched. We were able to cancel/rebook at a better rate and save a little. We booked in April for a end of June trip and a lot of the true resort options were either not available or prices really really high. 4. Cleanliness - Met our expectation. No problems. Room service is not every day unless you request it. We did not use room service at all as we prefer to eliminate extra people coming in to our room. The front desk has extra towels, etc. available if you ever need to ask for more. 5. Noise Level - No problems related to the hotel. Luckily we seemed to have a quiet floor the week we were there even though they were booked full. Our room was on the second floor a few doors down from the lobby elevator. 6. Food - We only did the breakfast a couple of times. $5 per person. Cheap compared to going out. Food options were comparable to what you would get at free buffets elsewhere, so don't expect a massive variety. But, I will say the quality of the food items were better prepared/cooked than many "free" buffets. For the additional resort fee charged, I think they should consider just including the breakfast. One day we also did the box lunch for $15 per person. Sandwiches were good and big, included chips and apple. For the price I wish it would have included a bottle of water but it did not. Amenities - Indoor hot tub was closed, but everything else was working fine and family enjoyed the pool. A nice perk was the sauna. Laundry facilities onsite and restaurant/bar onsite but we did not use those so cannot comment. 7. Staff - We are pretty low maintenance, but any time we had a question or needed something the staff was always accommodating and friendly. In summary, we had a good experience. Just make sure you have the right expectations for what the location is; it is a hotel with some boutique aspects and some additional features that most basic hotels don't have. It isn't a resort or a five star luxury hotel. For the price of the area/value available in Jackson Hole it met our expectations.

The lodge may be a good option from outside but is no different than a six motel. Beds needs better mattresses and A/C units. Carpet floors are no more appealing. The fire place is small it looks enormous on the website but is just a very small area. Keep in mind there are no free continental breakfast, internet access is not guaranteed.
