Our room at Mountain Modern was gigantic - we were stunned by its size and amenities. It was like a one-bedroom apartment, with a well-appointed kitchen, so much space and TWO bathrooms. The two-queen bedroom was enormous - easily fitting the two beds with space to actually move around. The staff was super friendly and the facility has great amenities - pools, jacuzzis, the Triple M restaurant right on property. It's a fabulous place - we very much enjoyed our stay. We also appreciated how close it was to the town - we rarely needed our car (only using it for drives to/from the airport, national park or Teton Village.) The biggest drawback of this lodging is the cost - but we learned that's basically the cost of visiting this beautiful haven nestled near a magnificent national park. My Mama always taught me, "you get what you pay for" - and that was definitely true for our stay at Mountain Modern. One second minor challenge was the parking. We came back a little later one night (around 9 PM) and because there was no vacancy, we really had to hunt around for a spot.

Good place, amenities and Cafe are great to relax end of day, and cafe convenient for quick bite on-site or refresher. We met for bfast each day and worked well. Rooms are spread all around a big site but we had a room very convenient to amenities.

So Modern Mountain was a great location and the room was clean and practical. We booked a second floor as we had heard that being on the first floor was quite noisy and it was a bit noisy from buses, etc, outside even on the second floor. Staff was friendly and it was clean. Reason for "average" review was because it was very expensive for the type of property. I guess that's due to being in Jackson Hole, however, it was a bit over the top. Sink faucet was extremely long and awkward. Lastly, no elevator so be aware if you're booking with people who have issues with stairs or heavy luggage going to second floor. On a positive note, very clean and great smelling soaps/shampoo, etc.
