Lake Yellowstone Hotel

The Yellowstone Hotel is beautiful and we will stay there next time. This time we stayed in the cabins which were very nice and provided everything we needed - two queen beds and a bathroom.

If you are looking for a property where your room has no wifi, airconditiong, tv coffein room is in a bag and pour water over it similar to tea and electricity goes out often - you'll love it!

The only things nice about this hotel are the staff and location. There is absolutely no reason to not have AC and put guests in 80 degree rooms on the 2nd floor in 2026 at the rate they charge per night. The food was absolutely awful for the price…so bad we skipped dinner the 2nd night in lieu of dinner at a restaurant in Grand Teton. All of Yellowstone lodges and hotels have the same awful food vendor so you have to go outside the park to have other options. I recommend staying in Bozeman and venturing in on a daily basis to visit Yellowstone. They also falsely advertised a room with a handheld shower, and when our room didn’t have one, they could not find one that did. Cassidy, the manager, was awesome and offered a discount for the inconvenience. Brian, the bell hop, was amazing as he helped us when our room phone wasn’t working, which came in handy on the 3rd night when I found a spider nest and several live spiders in our room. The maintenance staff were happy to assist at 10 pm when I was having a fit bc I’m terrified of bugs. Most of the staff are young college students on break, and very pleasant, however.
