Unique Luxury Colony

What do I mean.!! Colonia has one of the best sunsets in the world, so depending how long you stay you must find a great spot to clap the sunset... At the Colony they have a viewing balcony just for this purpose..so enjoy it.. Now the hotel says 5 star but it is not. The rooms are ok but walls are thin...the service way below par.. The outside pool is small compare to others.. The Spa and indoor pool is the best bet..BUT to get to it you must go thru a tunnel under the road!! Food is good.. In high season they have many activities for kids and kids club... also in peak season they provide 1/2 pension food meaning you must have it!! Over all this could be a great hotel, if only the owners believe so and did something about it... Summary stay for the Spa and View the rest you can do better elsewhere.

Terrible hotel. The staff was very rude, my bedroom had cigarettes smell, and they didnt move a finger to Fix it. the hotel is too dark, and there's only a tiny light into the room. Play room is abandoned. a room service, changing towels, making up the bed, (it was 9pm) was very late. When i complained about it , the man at the reception said: "there's always a first time". They're not kind to the guests. Such a pretty city and such a bad hotel, that's melancholic. f*** them. i do not recommend for anybody

Very good hotel with plenty to do. Rooms are quite big with Asian decoration, Although they may have some greater detail distinction. The facilities are very spacious, has a large pool in which multiple activities are performed and other heated in-door pool. To highlight the spa is amazing with two minimalistic yacuzzys where you can perform many activities. The breakfast buffet is complete and very well served. On the second floor has the reading room with a big piano and where guests usually gather to watch the sunset over the river. The staff is super friendly and kind. IIt has many more sectors where you can read or listen to music. Great hotel with good price-quality relationship to enjoy the shore of Rio de la Plata.
