Sugar Beach Condo Resort

It's been awhile since I stayed here, it was Sugar Beach then, but the condo was very comfortable and the location is perfect. It is quiet but close to Cristiansted. There are two restaurants within a short walk on the beach.

Had a wonderful time. We were by everything we wanted to do. Wished we could have stayed longer. We was upset we didn’t make it for a longer visit. We had friends that stayed in the same area at the same time. First time I enjoyed myself in a very long time. Thanks for everything. Linda Gary Carol and John .... I diffenetly want to return again before it get cold out with my family. My granddaughter will love all she can see and do. It’s for a couple, friends or families. Loved my get away.

We picked this unit for the access to the beach, price and location and it lived up to it all! Walk right out onto the beach each morning to drink our coffee and watch the sun come up. We already knew it was a dated unit, it was clean and well appointed but some little things could have made it better. The second bedroom facing the parking lot only had shear curtains which did not keep the parking lot lights out, these lights were on all night long. Plus the sun setting created a great deal of heat and if the curtains had been room darkening it would have helped with the parking lot lights and been energy efficient keeping the heat from the sun out. The second bedroom bathroom was in desperate need of repairs and updating, plaster falling off the wall and the shower head was pitiful. It was nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit. Kitchen had everything we needed from pots and pans to crock pot. The coffee maker needs to be replaced, very difficult to get it to brew each morning The patio was lovely with a nice table we had dinner each night on. Living room was comfortable with TV and good channels. WIFI was a challenge, pretty weak All rooms had ceiling fans Sugar Beach Condo's common area was kept very clean, nice pool area and the beach was very nice. While we were there they was a lot of sargassum, over the weekend it was not attended to but on Monday and each day after that 3 guys were out there daily raking it up but Mother Nature had other ideas. The next morning it was back again Easy walk to Breezes for a nice dinner, we had a rental car so did not walk anywhere else. McDonald's and Subway was a close walk. While we had a fun time, for the price we paid it was a good experience but next time I might choose a higher end place.
