Hesperia Playa El Agua

This is my second visit and the hotel is deteriorating in all its services; honestly, for the next opportunity, I would first consider other options. The issue of the $40 cash deposit required to receive the TV and air conditioning remotes was not communicated to us, so at the reception they tell you it is not mandatory, but if you do not provide it, you will not receive the remote, therefore you cannot use the TV with the remote nor can you self-regulate the air conditioning. The Wi-Fi signal does not reach the rooms; they should install repeaters. The towels looked like old rags, small, yellow, and frayed; there was no hand towel or bath mat to use after the shower. The toilet did not fill the water tank unless you opened the lid and applied pressure on the plug. The sink only worked on the hot water side and was unbearably hot. The issue with the loungers is true; it happened to us during the first visit in the Christmas season; there were not enough! This time we did not use the buffet.

Nothing this great hotel was is now. I don't recommend it. We went to Christmas with the family. The food is lousy, very little variety, maximum two types of meat and neither provicado, and to taste it was to confirm what your eyes told you. And they also do not use buffet assembly or gastronomic display decorated with food. The arepas are mini (as in all hotels) but these were cold and hard at breakfast (every day was the same), there is no white cheese, they never made pancakes in 5 days that I stayed, if you run out of sliced cheese (only one type of cheese) or bar ham you have to ask the waiters to replenish it yourself and you have to wait at least 15 minutes to bring it back. Same with cereal and milk. Cereal only korn flakes. The supposed candy table is just cookies and sweetbread. As a soft drink there is only coke (no more flavors) and if it runs out you also have to wait for the attendant to bring it, because the waiters are not left several but one at a time. There's no latte. There are no options in the menu for children. There's no tea and infusion table. The mid-afternoon snack is arepas and obvious hard and horrible. There's no piña colada in the bar. On the beach just a waiter who does not have enough and you have to wait a long time, it is better to go and get your drink yourself. Upon arrival I was asked for a deposit of $40 for towels and air and TV control, and it is mandatory to pay it in USD and by the way I disliked the fact of questioning your honesty in the commitment to return towels and controls and it is just arriving. The common areas if very nice and almost all are reclaimed and the room painted and acceptable. The staff making a great effort to assist you. A big part of buying an all-inclusive package, is the gastronomic part, in the all-inclusive of meals and drinks. And they just missed the meal part, so the whole experience was negative for us.

This year I gave him the opportunity to stay at hesperia playa el agua but I really do not recommend it. First on arrival and to get the towels I had to leave a deposit of $20 (which doesn't make sense) but that wasn't the trouble.... But the towels never arrived, I had to request the refund of my deposit and use the towel that I carry. On the other hand, the all-inclusive included nothing... I tried to dine fish and when I tried it I almost vomited because of its unpleasant taste. The candy table is just sweetbread. ... I wanted to have a pina colada and when I went to order it they no longer had, for dinner on February 14th that was going to be an unforgettable experience but because when I went down with my daughter to dinner at 8 pm there was nothing left.... The room smelled like paint, the shower did not have the stand and to bathe I had to hold it. The bed had termites. But most of all was its gastronomic menu, nothing tasted good and the options were few to offer all-inclusive package better indicate that it is not. It's really unusual that I paid for something I didn't have. I'm certainly not going to that hotel again. I only rescue from my stay the pools and the private beach.
