Royal Hotel

The rooms were nice and clean, but the attitude of the staff was just terrible. Every question or request was met with reasons why It wouldn't work or couldn't happen. I usually stay at 15$ a night rooms in Vung Tau, but wanted something nicer this time for Tết, the service you get at 1 star hotel in Vung Tau is way better than this sad excuse for a hotel. There were many examples of the staffs incompetence but I will just tell my two favorite stories. 1. Coming back at night to find the security and the front desk staff asleep (This was around 1:30am the morning of 21/2/2018 if the manager would like to check the cameras). After trying to wake up the reception I gave up and had to go behind the desk and find my key for myself. 2. At the Breakfast Buffet that I paid for - Orange Juice is an extra 50,000 VND a glass, and when I asked for a glass of water instead the staff pointed me to the empty container of water. When I informed her that it was empty and asked her to get me a glass of ice water she told me "No it isn't" and walked away. I was there during the holidays so maybe people were in a bad mood because they had to be at work. but regardless I will never stay in this hotel again.

This is the 1st time i stayed in this hotel. Overall the hotel is good. Friendly staff and very nice and comfortable bed. It share a swimming pool with the neighbour hotel. The best part of the hotel is you get a sea view without paying extra. It is conveniently located in front of the beach. Definitely recommend to stay here if in Vung Tau.

Everytime I travel Vungtau, I always stay in this Hotel, In this trip it's my longest stay, l've been here for almost 4 months now, and I can say i feel at home!.. All staff are nice, food is good, room is clean, even the manager's are concern offer to buy me medicine when I'm not feling well. Asking what assistant i need, Offer breakfast deliver to my room. So nice!. It's make me feel more comfortable, It's perfect to stay here..
