Bamboo Green Hotel

First off, this is honestly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I would have preferred a motel 6 over this place any day of the year. Trust me u don’t want to come here, but we didn’t really have a choice, we booked a tour that was supposed to be nice but unfortunately this was the hotel included. The lobby has an indescribable smell and the room reeks as well. The room is pained in a bright green color and is extremely hot (like when I say hit I mean it is hotter that outside the hotel in the sun). In addition, the room is very humid and in my option feels like a poor quality sauna. The room has one light in the room and one in the bath room, when the light in the bathroom it makes a loud buzzing sound. The room is not the cleanest and I’d give it a 3/10. Also, the sink isn’t fully plumbed well, the drain is hooked up to a pipe that goes under the sink and drips out into a drain. The towels in the room weren’t white, you could tell that they were originally white but now have a yellow and tan tint to them. If I could I would have given this place 0 stars and I highly recommended choosing any other hotel than this one.

Upfront, this is a review for the Harbourside location (Bamboo Green also has 'Central' and a 'Riverside' locations). This is a budget-friendly hotel, that is one block in from the lively Bach Dang riverside walkway, in between the Dragon Bridge and the Vincom Mall bridge. By staying here you'll be able to walk to the Dragon Bridge or to Vincom Mall. The location is a quick taxi ride (about 50K dong) to the My Khe beach. The room we has was clean, not spotless - but it wasn't dirty or anything unreasonable. The included breakfast buffet is on the top floor (5th floor) which has a great view of the dragon bridge. The breakfast food was mostly slanted towards an asian audience (think noodles and meats not scrambled eggs and hashbrowns). All in all, my wife and I stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend and was happy with our choice. The location is good if you want to experience the city, and the cost is low enough. With the location, and the included breakfast buffet, this hotel is a good value. Hope this was helpful.

This was an absolutely poor hotel. If i could give this 0 stars i would. The hotel lobby reeks of cigarattes, the paint is peeling from the walls, there were insects crawling along the ground and i receieved countless mosquito bites. The massage parlour is not a massage parlour and worst of all i woke up with a very bad back since the beds were so bad. Avoid this franchise at all costs.
