Bao Quang Hotel

On first impressions it seems like a nice affordable hotel so I was surprised to find cockroaches running all over the room, the side boards and on the bed. There were cockroaches of all sizes so they are clearly breeding here. On further inspection the filth under the beds and in the bathrooms was clear. I pointed this out to the staff, who I have to say are extremely friendly and helpful and they assured me the room would get a deep clean. This wasn't done. Instead a half attempt to make the floor smell of bleach and even that wasn't done properly. We also requested some laundry and separated out whites from darks. Our clothes came back pink and our friends whites blue. Much to our disappointment. I would not recommend this hotel

Travelling from Soc Trang to Saigon and now arriving to Da Nang, I was exhausted and also looking for a decently cheap place to stay. I did book ahead of time on booking.com though I had to cancel a room last minute due to family issues. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful as I'm not from around the area and needed some guidance. I believe the price is $31 (Aus) per night for a double room that sleeps 4. Very decently priced for such a lovely place. Would reccomend.

This hotel COULD be amazing: The room was really nice - spacious, nice bed, high ceilings, lots of windows, flat-screen TV, etc. But the room was not clean. The bathroom had lots of built-up grime in the shower and beyond... It looked like it had never been cleaned properly since the hotel was opened. Our room had also not been cleaned properly for our arrival. Garbage not emptied, used glass on the counter, hair all over the floor, bed made but sheets clearly not changed. The front desk staff was very kind and apologetic when we brought it to their attention, and they sent someone to the room right away while we waited in the lobby. Unfortunately, though, I had to ask a second time for them to change the sheets. The front desk staff made some excuses for the cleaner, saying she's been really busy and stressed... But I really think they need to hire a new cleaner altogether. We asked for some more toilet paper the next day and the front desk staff was shocked to hear the cleaner had not serviced our room... I should really give this hotel a 2 out of 5 because of the state of the room when we checked in, bit everything else about the place was fine. Decent location about 5 mins walk from the beach. Danang is a great city and the people are super friendly and kind. Highly recommend the city, but find somewhere else to stay.
