We had a very underwelming experience futing our stay. We stayed for 2 nights. We stayed in the room that fall in the category called 'Superior room'. I guess that their basic room category. You can find much much better Airbnb for half the price they charge. Nothing about this hotel felt like its a 4-star hotel. Following are the issues we faced: 1. Room we were provided had a very bad ventilation. There is only one window, which opens the corridor facing the front door. If I keep that open, there won't be any privacy. 2. Two of the plug points were not working. When I informed at the reception, they said someone will come to help. But noone came and noone cared to resolve that problem. 3. Kettle was not cleaned properly. It had some residue on it. You can see it in the pictures I shared. 4. Housekeeping didnt attend to change the sheets and arrange the room on the second day. We were told coffee and 2 bottles will be provided complimentory per day, which they offered only on the day one and didnt bother about it for the second day. 5. Room is badly insulated from noise. We can hear people talking, using washroom, flushing the toilets from the adjecant room. For all this things the person in the reception has only one answer, that category of the room I choose is the reason for all this. But they forget that if they are carrying the badge of 4-star hotel, some basic standards must be maintained. Becuase you are charging customers higher prices than others in the name of 4-star hotel.

We stayed 2 nights in 2 different deluxe rooms. Our first night we noticed old blood stains on the sheets. When we raised the issue we were met with skepticism but told someone would look into it. Someone came, took photos then replaced them without any apology. Our 2nd night in a different room we advised that our fridge wasn't cooling. The front desk staff member didn't even check our issue but when we followed up said he'd checked the staff log from a few days ago that said the fridge was working - but hadn't bothered to contact us just waited until we followed up. The fridge was still not cool by morning time despite being on overnight. The attitude of the front desk staff was dismissive and quite arrogant. It was this that made us change our plans to stay elsewhere for our final night in Hanoi. The actual rooms themselves were comfortable and the breakfast buffet sumptuous. It's a shame that the attitude of front desk ruined it
