Platinum Ii

I don't recommend to stay at this hotel. It is not worth for your money even though it is in Central of Hochiminh City. Service quality is very low. Staffs are not welcome. I recommend to stay other hotels instead.

We found the hotel to be a 20 minute walk to the old Quarter part of Hanoi but we did get up early and walk it the shaded boulevards were lovely we came across an early morning market not far from the hotel and enjoyed talking to the locals who were very friendly and showed us the best way to walk we also noticed the colonial architecture of hanoi was really lovely The hotel was comfortable and the restaurant was on the top floor and breakfast was pretty Ho Hum We only stayed here 2 nights before and after a halong bay cruise if I had to stay longer it would not be in this hotel

I'm currently still in Vietnam and this hotel was recomended by Wendy Wu Travel...however I would not suggest this as a great place to stay....It is a good 15 minute drive from the Old Quart and the best markets in Hanoi. I have booked a superior room, however my basic room on a Junk boat in Halong Bay superseeds this without a doubt. After staying one night, it was ok...however my friend and I then had a night trip on a Junk Boat in Halong Bay (highly recomended) and upon our return they had checked us out of our superior room and placed us in the basic room which the toilet doesn't work... When I asked about it they pretend their is a language misunderstanding - yet they understood me fine when we were discussing other tours etc. I have traveled asia numerous times and although I have stayed in worse hotels - it was expected as I was on a low budget. however Platinum was mid-high price range and my expectations were let down.
