Hanoi Lucky I Hotel

I scarcely know where to begin. Water leaks everywhere, in all three rooms of our rooms. The complimentary breakfast was non existent, but the woman at the front desk announced it had already ended at 9:30 when we came downstairs. There was not a shred of evidence that it had ever existed. Not a cup of coffee or a piece of toast in lieu of the missing breakfast was offered. When we decided to move to a better hotel, we noticed a "no Show" charge of an additional $35 from the online Booking agency so she would not have to pay commission to them. Quite a scam. Very uncomfortable situation. Our recommendation is to not waste your money on this hotel. The best hotel we ever stayed in is right around the corner.

Absolutely horrible. disgustingly dirty rooms. We booked through booking.com and upon arrival the receptionist told us that she would cancel the booking so that she wouldn't have to pay a fee. We said no but she did anyways. Then we found out that we paid a full fee and she told booking.com that we didn't show up and charged us an additional night!!! Sleep with one eye open. The "included breakfast" was a beautiful buffet of air. Haaha aka NOTHING. literally nothing at all. Not even a fing cracker. Worst experience of my life. Would rather stick my hand in a wasps nest than go back to Hanoi new hotel.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel, 2 rooms, we have our booking done through expedia and it stated breakfast was inclusive. However upon morning when we came down to the lobby, the staff told us that there are no breakfast. The excuse is they are short of staff and unable to prepare breakfast. We were in rush and at night when we are back to the hotel, the staff said that they can offer us the airport transfer from our hotel to airport at the subsidies rate with we need to pay 10usd instead of 22usd to cover the losses on breakfast. Only later we found that the normal rate is only10usd without any subsidy for the airport transfer. Room wise, there are bed mites and bed bugs with crawling crocoaches. 2 of our friends being force to rent other hotel, without refund. As the bed bugs bitting and cause itchiness. The floor was dusty, aircond was not cold even we switch to the 18Celcius with strongest wind blow. The gate closed at night without early informing, we went back to the hotel late at around 12am. And the whole shutter gate was closed. We when through some hassle to contact the hotel personnel to open the gate. They dont even provide the complimentary drinking water in the room as well, upon checking out they charged us for the drinking water in the room. As we were in rush to the airport, we didnt argue much with them.
