I’m REALLY surprised to see this hotel have such a low ranking. I had a really great time staying here. My dog’s name is “Lotus” and that’s exactly why I chose this hotel other than the rather amazing infinity pool on the roof. I stayed here for five nights at the start of a 25 day trip across Vietnam. The location is fantastic, it is a Grab motorcycle ride away from the famous walking street or “the war remnants museum” and within walking distance of the “pink church”. Breakfast here is really wonderful. What a huge selection including home made pancakes, omelette made to order, eggs anyway done upon order, fresh fruit. Only grizzle would be that the coffee really isn’t all that nice despite Vietnam apparently being a coffee producer. Morning after morning I had breakfast out on the terrace overlooking the early morning traffic at the busy crossroads. The hotel is traditional with dark wood furnishings but kept very clean by the house keeping staff. If you stay here you definitely need to spend an afternoon or two at the glorious rooftop infinity pool. The gym is well equipped as well and I enjoyed a workout or two whilst staying here. Doormen are very helpful and courteous here too. I would absolutely stay here again and had no issue getting my refund of my security deposit back. Thank you for a great stay.

Decent location, piano bar closed the whole 3 days we were there, rooms and public spaces very dated, nice staff, HOWEVER!, We paid a deposit on arrival for potential breakages etc which is OK but we are now 17 days on and they have still not paid up, they have not responded to our numerous e-mails I have contacted the local tourist board to help me so beware
