Vivian Hotel (Asian Ruby 2)

This is a good, quiet, friendly hotel in the heart of the city. Set back from the busy roads in a quiet alley. Nice, simple, clean rooms with a comfy bed. Extremely quiet at night. All the staff are friendly and helpful, and go above and beyond to make your stay a pleasure. Breakfast was beautifully prepared with everything needed to start a busy day. A special mention for Victor and the team in the kitchen.

The plus point is if you love to shop then you will love its location.It is 10 minutes walk away to the famous Benh Tanh Market and night market.For Muslims,the halal restaurants are a few along the same street.The down sides are the not so cold aircon,so so bathroom and small sized room.Well,it fits the hotel price.

Located in District 1. Walking distance to Ben Thanh Market, Museums, Post Office, Bui Vien (backpacker) St. and more. Staff was friendly and helpful. Spoke good English and arranged airport taxi. Everyone was very nice. You can walk out of hotel and hangout at one of the local sidewalk eateries and enjoy a beer and atmosphere. Security guard was present night and day so I felt my room was secure. Room was small but clean. I travelled solo so not a problem for me. Would stay again. Price was approx. $25.00 U.S.
