We had booked a big triple room via Booking.com and when we checked in, they gave us a small double room with a mattress on a floor! Horrible joke after reading many good reviews about this hotel. Nothing else was available, they had overbooked the hotel totally.
There was a construction going on and there were an awful noise and smell of fresh paint. And even though the window was closed, we could smell the gasoline from traffic. And the noise from the street was very bad. We cancelled our reservation for one week, had to pay one night but didn't stay at all, we found much better place nearby at the same price.
And what else: They sent me notifications several days before arrival, that my credit card isn't acceptable and I should give the information of an another card. And my card was working... Well I gave the information but then I got another message that I should give the information of a third credit card! Well I didn't, because it felt like a scam. I've booked several times via different sites (Booking, Agoda etc.) and this was the first time this to happen.
We booked a transfer from airport but what we got was a girl on arrival hall and she just showed us, where the taxi line is. Well, we could have found out that by ourselves and with a cheaper price.
We just can't recommend this hotel to anyone. I don't give bad reviews easily but this was the worst experience ever. The only good thing was a girl in a reception, who was friendly and polite.
