Mondial Hoan Cau

We stayed here for one night on the way to hoi an. Hotel was very comfortable and staff really helpful, good breakfast. The only complaint I would have was the bathrooms are definitely due for refurbishment, showers were very low pressure and no hook on the wall to hold shower hose. It was also very small. Not really what we expected for the price we paid for the room. We also found the air conditioner didn't really cool down the room even on the powerful setting. Pool area was very nice and hotel was good location. Probably would stay elsewhere if coming back to Hue.

Staff were welcoming and helpful - doorman particularly useful for directions. breakfast pretty good but juices range and heating of all the foods on offer would have made it that bit better. very relaxing though chilling out while looking over the river and citadel over a coffee, which was one of the better in house ones i had on this trip. room was lovely but the city view isnt really that 'breathtaking' but the balcony is always nice to have. Pool small and intimate but refreshing after a days walking around. make sure you walk along the reiverbank down to the restaurant area - it can be really quiet and quite removed from the hustle and bustle just a few meteres away. hot water gr8 and the free water every day is always a nice touch. they are keen to do the right thing so make sure you let them know if something is not quite right. w
