Saigon Sports 1 Hotel

Hotel has perfect location in city centre in main street. Rooms were clean, containing depoait box (what is really importan to me) and good air-conditioning (what is rear for Vietnam). We were able to exchange money in hotel with best rate. Staff from hotel organised us trip to Mekong delta and cu chi tunels(it was cheaper than in all agencies we saw). Also reception was working all night with great staff. I strongly recommend this accommodation. We didn't regrette booking it.

The good thing about this hotel is the location as you’re literally in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh, however with this comes the high levels of noise unfortunately, but I guess it’s to be expected. Our room was quite small and cramped, with not too much storage space available. None of the sockets worked in our room either, besides the one in the bathroom, which was inconvenient. The worst part was finding a cockroach in our room, luckily the staff were very accommodating and let us change rooms but the fact it was there in the first place wasn’t ideal! We booked a bus to Phnom Penh through this hotel, which we thought would be the best option, but we ended up being crammed onto a bug infested delivery truck ... not what we were promised! I would recommend using an alternative travel agents nearby instead!

Anna from Saigon Odyssey Hotel was just brilliant for booking Several trips. We booked hop on bus, Monkey island, plus a Tour with flights. We would highly recommend this firm and especially Anna who is a beautiful person and certainly has made this trip to Vietnam a very memorable one. Thanks again Anna.
