Hotel is located right across from the area known as Little Japan and within walking or a short motorbike ride distance to many of D-1 area attractions. They were demolishing a building next door so after several stays here over the last few years I can say I would check with staff on noise level and at least get a discount for that! Normally, it is very quiet, but admittedly the breakfast buffet is geared towards Japanese and S Koreans as that is who primarily stays at this hotel, but don't let that stop you. There are two great western style places meters away with excellent western breakfasts if you just can't make do with what they offer.

This is my second stay at the Sunflower Hotel. There is nothing about the place that wows, but I'm not sure what people expect when selecting a hotel in this price range. It is a decent place with a good location. Good bars, nightlife and restaurants all within a short walk of the front door. The front desk and room keeping staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very simple. There are a few things that could make the place much nicer. Attention to detail would help improve a guest's experience. Little things as easy as installing hooks or something in the bathroom to hang towels, robes, etc.. Making sure the electrical outlets work and are able to hold a plug (my plugs fell out of every outlet). Ensuring the wheels on the desk chair work properly. Lastly.....bathing is difficult. The rooms have jacuzzis, so showing can be a bit of challenge. Even with a shower curtain, water floods the bathroom floor. Making it very slippy when stepping out of the raised jacuzzi. Forget about using the wall mount for the shower head as the hose doesn't reach making it impossible to shower properly (unless you are able to do the "Asian Squat". The towel rack is conveniently located where you knock you head on it if you're 6 ft (1.8m) tall and not paying attention.

Stayed there for 2 days it has basic hotel. Hotel is near by Ben Thanh market and in the heart of city D1 is central part and preferred by all foreigners. You may find various options near by in same range of this hotel.
