Tan Hoang Long is not a luxury hotel by any stretch of the imagination, more like a 2 or 3 star hotel but the rooms are clean and the location is superb. It is a 2 minute walk to Nguyen Hue walking street and has a Money Exchange next door as well as a number of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. We had a 1 bedroom suite which was large and clean.

The service provided by staff was amazing from the moment we booked. They reassured we had a quiet, high floor room as requested which was very kind. On arrival, they were very welcoming and nothing was too much of an ask. The location is brilliant and everything is walkable with some great restaurants and bars very nearby. Two downsides, the wifi didn’t reach our bedroom so we had to sit in the lobby to use and the bathroom didn’t have any aircon so it was very warm in there. The aircon shuts off when the keycard is removed, but the reception team kindly gave us a second card so that we didn’t have the aircon turn off whilst we were out. Again, couldn’t fault the staff and would definitely stay upon a return visit

Absolutely perfect location, in the heart of everything, very central, easy to get around. Literally right next to the main street near the Ho Chi Minh statue. Lots of shops, restaurants etc. There is a fantastic coffee bar diagonally across on the junction. Sit up on the balcony and overlook the traffic and the noise with a relaxing peppermint mocha with cream and chocolate sauce! The staff were very helpful and even opened up early so we could have breakfast before we had to leave. Also a very good foot massage just downstairs. Our room was quite small and basic, just one small window to the side, but not a problem.
