Thien An Hotel

We travel in family, 8 persons, helpful staff, good location, near Ben Thanh market, walking distance, value for money, just simple breakfast, don't expect more, you get what you paid, Vietnam coffee really good...

Don't bother with this hotel. The city is beautiful and full of hotels; try somewhere else instead of staying here. It's true you get what you pay for but it was clear to me that the room had not been cleaned on check-in (there was rubbish, unwashed glasses, bins full) when we looked down the side of the bed there was dust (understandable) but also cotton buds and other rubbish. There were two saving graces about this hotel; the location and the hot shower (only two days out of the three).

Do not use this hotel. The staff are incompetent, lazy, rude, liars and lack any sort of hotel knowledge and would be better off learning to be cleaners as the hotel is filthy and falling to pieces. They would not issue or did not know how to to issue a receipt for master card payment and the rooms were never cleaned during my stay. I moved to the hotel next door which was better, cheaper and cleaner and the staff were friendly and actually knew what they were doing. This hotel should be shut down.
