Angela Boutique Serviced Residence

There are lots of good write ups, and I can only imagine that some of the appartments are OK, but can you be sure. We were duped by the accommodation providers, We were to have a Deluxe Two-Bedroom Apartment, which offered amazing features as a Hot tub ... Washing machine ... Video, ...Telephone ... Ironing facilities ... Iron... Minibar ... DVD player, Dressing room .. Barbecue .. a Computer and a Laptop ... Fold-up bed ... Drying rack for clothing. Lies. Infact none the photos on the website remotely looked like our room. Total different, and of course nicer, places to stay. Facilities were offered but were not there or not set up. Imagine showering in the toilet / shower pictured below. The light switch for the smaller bedroom meant that the occupant of that room had to go to the kitchen to turn off and then had to navigate getting back to bed in the dark. So, talk to the property. They offer Vietnammese and English speakers. Messages were never replied to and trying to speak English with the staff in reception proved impossible.

The room was very dirty, the sheets dirty, full of stains and something that looked like bird poop. The sofa was filthy, it was disgusting to even get close to it. The walls were scuffed and the towels given to us were dirty and full of stains. At the reception there was a person who did not speak English

Made a booking with AsiaMiles and wanted to change the booking due to Saigon being closed and locked down in the pandemic. (Unable to fly to HCM.) The hotel was not even open or answering calls on the check in date and later, when someone could be reached they wouldn’t change the date or consider a refund. Truly reprehensible. So can’t recommend and would advise you walk far away from such a place. Hotels like this who try to grab cash from their guests are what’s wrong with the hotel industry here.
