Kim Saigon Hotel

I stayed there in 2018 and it was fine, and so I booked again in 2022. But when I showed up, the lady found my booking but nervously apologized and told me there had been some mistake, my booking had not been taken into account or some not very credible justification of that kind and she redirected me to some other hotel in the same street. First time this was happening to me.

Pros: good location walking distance to Ben thanh market. Friendly staff. Cons: the room we had, the bathroom is visible from the bedroom.so if you are not comfortable having your traveling partners see the naked, you better not book this hotel.please note not all rooms are designed this way.my other friends room on level 4 had a different layout. And their room was cleaner. Our carpet was very dirty and room Was smelling.we tried to request for room changed but they say the hotel is full.

Booked Delux room through jetstar Arrived early morning 5am after night bus from Nha Trang Managed to get inside but despite room being ready told I could not check in until 12 midday. No welcome or assistance given and no lounge area to wait. Managed to get 3 chairs and lay on them to sleep. Woken up by reception staff and told I could check in early if I paid 350000 dong but not sure if this was real or an attempt to scam money. As there is no restaurant onsite went out to get breakfast and came back later to finally check in Deluxe I had booked not available so given family room on 3 rd floor. 2 large comfortable beds in a large room with a column in the middle of one side which seems odd. Windows open to noisy side street. Good bathroom but shower door looks like it has never been cleaned. Noisy TV could be heard from another room. It was OK for one night but lacks friendly and helpful staff that I have found elsewhere in Vietnam.
