We stayed at the the Northern Saigon Hotel for 3 nights We enjoyed our stay the hotel was in a good location and easy to walk to where we want to go. We had to contact room maintenance to come to our room a couple of times and they were always prompt. Our holiday was booked through Trip A Deal

The hotel is centrally located in the Dong Koi district in relation to the main attractions in the city. Towering hotels and office buildings alternate with old pagodas and colonial buildings from the French period. What a surprise upon entering the room. An enormous space with the king-size bed on one side and a complete lounge on the other. Between the two in a writing desk and a partial wall of two meters wide that separates the sleeping area from the lounge and guarantees privacy. On the side there is access to a spacious bathroom with a large jacuzzi. Half an hour in these bubbles, where the color-changing water lighting makes you forget all your worries and all the sweat of the day disappears like snow in the sun

A welcome respite from the heat and humidity. Love the "rules" - no laundry to be done in rooms!!! The room was decent and bed reasonably comfortable. I dislike shower over bath situations. Too hard to manoeuver in to have a decent shower. I don't know why they have a "bar" with a food menu in the foyer, it takes ages to get the food and the drinks, which come from the bowels of the hotel somewhere. The breakfast buffet was quite well provisioned. The pool and bar on the roof-top were there, but the photo on the hotel website is misleading. The rails on the outer edge of the pool are minimal, and the views aren't inspiring. You can see the river from the roof, but the rest of the view is not attractive. What was hard to cope with was the front stairs to the entry door - they were highly polished granite with no grips or handrails whatsoever. And given that it often rains in Ho Chi Minh, a bit of a concern when negotiating.
