Stayed there 3 times during 2 week visit in Vietnam. Rooms rates vary from small room $23 to large room $38. Right in the center of District 10, Near Ben Thanh market, Saigon Center, Sense underground mall, Centrally located, convient, several grocery stores located 1 block away. Small hotel, prices reasonable. Hotel staff friendly and helpful to assist in booking local tours, airline tickets to other cities. Ms. Huyen - front desk, helped me with travel arrangements. I used this hotel as a base for travels to other parts of Vietnam, stored my excess luggage here.

We arrived at 1am in the morning and were told they ran out of family rooms (2 double beds) so they gave us another room with 1 double, 1 single and a fold out bed that didn’t have a blanket/doona like the other beds, but a doona COVER. Asked the next day for a blanket they said they don’t have any so gave me another doona cover. We asked to change rooms to what we asked for. They changed us on the 3rd day. Breakfast was ok, but I wasnt eating the coco pops as we saw the cleaner walk through with her sour face and grabbed a handful out of the bowl that was set up on the buffet for guests. All the staff were lovely but her. She even scowled at us for asking for fresh towels and bottles water each day (which they advertised they supply). Rooms are very old.

In the past I’ve stayed at this location when it was the Xuan Nguyễn hotel. It’s since been updated and slightly remodeled. The rooms are fresher, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Although the breakfast is not so good. A few things could make the breakfast better such as hot food, the eggs are cooked and cold. Placing them in a hot chafing dish would be welcome. Some more options also would be nice. Bacon and ham were plentiful but also cold. Even a hot soup besides porridge would be nice. That said, the TVs are great with lots of channels, the WiFi is good. Fully stocked mini bar.
