Thien Thao Hotel

Small clean rooms, busy District 3 street near multiple markets and food of all types. Tourist areas in District 1 thirty minute walk (across some busy intersections, not for everyone) or an easy and relatively cheap ten minute ride by motorbike, taxi or Grab (recommended) etc. Less than $6 USD Grab ride from airport, can very depending on time of day. Has an elevator, other hotels at this price may not. Nothing special but pretty good for the price.

Regular guest of this hotel, formerly called Thien Thao, this hotel benefits of a very convenient location in the heart of bustling Ho Chi Minh City, offering a good size room and closed to many restaurants (the street is very lively day and night). I always appreciate their flexibility to accommodate my last-minute request and the staff is always supporting. Special thanks to Ms Minh, the receptionist, who supported us to book our limousine bus ticket to Vung Tau during our recent stay there.

Did not book ahead , got 8th floor , lived with lift noise :-) Staff found a place for me . Walking up the extra stairs was exercise . Have to take off ' breakfast ' on the site . Was very cool back then , Could be way more organised and trimmed down . Not the greatest walker and follower of maps , made it to BV , old times , cheap beer from 711 , strolled , on exit , got another beer :-) The last taxi I got was unreal . 87kDong ? To the airport :-) Clean After paying 3 x that . Gave him 100 :-) Banh me at the door :-) Busy :-) Clean the lift would be cool At what cost a breakfast each day ? Seen some overkill recently . Upgrades cost , ROC :-) Not my job :-)
