The first impression when you go in the foyer is that it is 5 star luxury. It’s a massive foyer very beautiful and magnificent almost like entering a museum. The staff are welcoming and the hotel is very clean and huge. The restaurant is large and caters mainly for Asian tourists but you can find some western choices. There is an egg station and salad bar but not much in the line of cereal or dried fruit. The bread is lovely and fresh and there is wonderful coffee and fruit juice. Most of the warm dishes are Asian except for the bacon and chicken sausage. The bedroom was large and air conditioning good but the room itself needs upgrading. It was very dated with wallpaper that was patched up and carpets that needed renewing. The bathroom had an old feel with a bath with the shower over it and shower curtain which was not good at keeping water off the floor. Maid service was good. I asked for conditioner but they don’t supply it but you get tooth brushes, sewing kits, a small shower gel, etc. There are bath robes and slippers in the wardrobe. The swimming pool although not huge was nice. The gym looked good. There is a spa that does acupuncture etc but the use of English was not good and it was difficult to explain to them that we didn’t want ginger baths/ hir shampooing etc just good old fashioned oil massage. The hotel is very handy for the airport but there is nothing else around. It’s on a busy road that is difficult to cross but there was enough in the hotel to occupy ourselves. I would recommend it for a short stay as it is certainly a decent hotel.

Me and my wife was thinking of staying here. So we went to use there restaurant. It seemed very pleasant at first. But when we sat down, I could not help but see a male member of staff pointing at me and making gestures that I was smelly to he's college who was also laughing. I was a fair distance away, my wife is Vietnamese. So I can only assume it was racial. When my wife mentioned it to our waitress and she went and spoke to him. He started throwing punches in the air, again gestures like he wanted to hit me. The manager apologised and said we can have the meal for free. But it was too little, too late. Terrible experience and so unprofessional.

What I liked:
Wide choice at breakfast
Concierge was extremely friendly and helpful!
What I liked less:
Dated rooms
Bathroom not easy to get in and out and my mother had a knee injury so this was pretty stressful
They charged me 500,000 for the airport transfer when it costs 60,000 using a normal taxi
Overall not good value for money
