Blue Heaven Hotel

Arriving at the hotel we noticed we were miles away from anything, an hours walk at least to the beach, shops and bars. We were charged the same price as the room cost to check in 3 hours early, even though there were no other guests in the hotel. Going into the room we realised we had been given a single room instead of the room we’d booked- a deluxe room with 2 double beds. When we went to reception to swap, it took a lengthy conversation and us paying more money to get the room we booked. The room was filthy, sides had clearly not been wiped down in weeks, cockroaches all over the floor and ants in the bed. In the end we ended up moving to a hostel on the strip who were more friendly, helpful and the hotel was much cleaner for the same price. Avoid at all costs!

We arrived at the hotel around 5am after a night bus, we would have killed for any kind of bed! But we got to the hotel, it was nice and clean, and a lot bigger than the other budget hotels we have been staying at. They checked us straight in and showed us to our room which was great (as we didn't have to wait until check in at 2). The hotel is a little out of the city but its not too expensive to ring a taxi, which reception will happily do for you. Very cheap nights stay if you book via booking.com Nice hotel, nothing to complain about!

A little far from the centre, but a cheap taxi can get you there. I was close to the 100 egg mud baths, which are a must-do! The room we had was great. Clean, air conditioned, fridge and a HOT shower!! We didn't have much interaction with the staff as we only stayed here 1 night. Not many places to eat nearby, we walked for ages! Great wifi in room.
