Remi Hotel

We stayed three nights at remi's. The room was small but clean and with some efforts for the decoration. We paid 250 000 dongs, around 10 dollars. There is a terrace on the roof. However with a lot of towels drying there. It is at 5 minutes walking from the beach.

My girlfriend and I stayed 2 nights in the standard double room. We booked the hotel through booking.com and payed $14 per night. When we arrived, we found out that the room we stayed in was advertised $12 at the hotel. Other rooms where advertised at $14. We asked the lady at the counter why we were not in the $14 room and she told us that the hotel was charging "booking fees". $12 for the room + $2 booking = $14 we payed!? We left them the benefit of the doubt. The next morning we asked the same lady the price to go to the mud bath. She told us that the cheapest solution to get there was to take a taxi. The cost was 60 000VND and she even wrote it down on the spa folder. She called a taxi for us and talked to the driver in vietnamese when he picked us up. The taxi left the hotel and 3 streets away the counter was already approaching 60 000VND. I asked the driver to stop and asked him how much it was going to cost me and he told me 120 000VND. After arguing with him for a few minutes he finally called the hotel. He spoke in vietnamese with the lady at the reception before giving me his phone. The same lady who had given me the information 10 minutes before, told me that the spa I wanted to go to was "FAR FAR AWAY". Around 13Km away from the town and that the price for the ride was around 120 000VND. I had double checked the distance and the taxi fare on internet before. I also had the spa folder in my hand and the distance was written in the description. 4Km away not 13Km. We stepped out of the taxi without paying. 5min after we found another one who took us to the spa for 60 000VND. We checked out from the hotel this morning and this time they tried to charge us drinks we didn't have. The room itself was OK and relatively clean. Even though there was a cockroach on the bed when we arrived and ants in the bathroom but we don't blame them for that. There is no complimentary bottle of water. There are only 2 power plugs in the whole room and they are used by the fridge and the TV. If you want to charge any electronic device, you'll have to disconnect one of the above. I wouldn't stay there again if I had to come back in Nha Trang.

Big rooms with a balcony. Very friendly And helpful staff. Good laundry service as well. The Nightlife area can by 5 min walk. The only Thing, it is noisy inthe floors. The Walls are very thin so that you can here if the neighbour in the others rooms on the floor sneezes
