Cosiana Hotel Sapa

Not sure if this hotel is operational but sat across from it in our hostel I watched a woman who I believe works there repeatedly kick and hit a stray dog, the dog was not even near her. Wouldn’t recommend any tourists to support this business unless you like animal abuse.

Stayed here in Dec 2018. Restaurant and hotel was good enough.m back then. Returned to Sapa on first week of Oct 2023. Hotel and restaurant seems to be no longer operating. Entered the restaurant for lunch but no staff were around. Asked the guy resting on the sofa watching his phone (Guard? Receptionist? I dunno ) but was simply waved off and told to not disturb him. Came again the next night for dinner but didn’t enter as it was all dark from the outside.

On arrival at Sa Pa we checked into the hotel around 2200 h. We were met with a happy reception team and check in was easily completed. The rooms vary and most have two beds. The shower and and toilets are good and you have coffee and tea available. You also have a safe in your room to store valuables. Unfortunately mine wasn't working so I had to carry my money and passport with me. The hotel is close to the centre of town and all is in walking distance. Bring a jacket, it does get cold
