Hue Smile Hotel

Don’t really like to post negative reviews but hard to find much positive to write: Staff very friendly but limited English so a bit frustrating.. they tried to be as helpful as possible .. genuinely nice people It felt like we were the only punters there ( 4 nights) as we saw nobody else but had two hell nights when some other guests cranked up their music speakers at 4 am .. they were one floor up and 4 rooms away from us but still enough to wake us / keep us awake. I almost knocked their door down before they stopped .. manager not terribly keen to upset them, was very timid The rooms are dated but cleanish.. we changed room once as AC in first option busted. Free breakfast ho hum - asked for an omelette got two fried eggs Swimming pool does not exist It is centrally based which is a positive

Room was quite large (for a room, not a suite). Nothing special, but it was enough for what we needed. Next time, would stay closer to the river. The hotel staff didnt speak English that well either, which is a downfall, but in saying that, I am in Vietnam, Cant expect too much

Two nights in there for exploring the Hue. The room is clean enough and big. Great for the budget traveller. Breakfast is just normal. Just love to have the pho with fresh vegetable in the morning. But please don't try the massage in the hotel. I don't like the way is leading to the other things rather than giving the massage.
