What a fantastic Resort Vedana is. The service provided by all staff was outstanding. We must give a special mention to Annie who looked after us throughout our stay, she was absolutely wonderful and nothing was to much trouble. She always had a smile on her face. Only thing to mention is make sure you get a bike lock otherwise you may not have a bike when you come out of your villa!!

We are here now for a 3 night stay after a busy few days in Hanoi. I expected this resort to be beautiful from research before I booked but nothing prepared me for just how stunning it is. We are staying in a 2 bed water villa which is probably one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in (and I travel a lot) huge bathrooms, dressing area the biggest and most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! The 2 bed water villa s two rooms separated by a swimming pool, one room a super big double bed and the other room twin beds, so ideal as we were travelling as a family with two teenage daughter’s. You get around the resort of bicycles which is great fun. With our room we got complimentary cocktail and a 30 min spa treatment per day (you can opt for daily or add days together for a longer treatment ie 90 mins for a 3 night stay) the spa treatment I had yesterday was amazing and the spa is wonderful very Bali inspired. Breakfast is great with big choice of western and local dishes. Omelette station was excellent. We had dinner on the Horizon restaurant last night and the food was very good. Again lots of local and western choice available. Others have commented it is expensive but we didn’t think do for a hotel of this quality. But what really makes this place special are the people - all of the hotel team are so kind and helpful. You are set up with a WhatsApp for amy queries or bookings snd the process is so efficient. We had plans to visit Hue on the complimentary hotel shuttle bus but we love this resort so much we just don’t want to leave. If you want a few days relaxing in between sightseeing this is the perfect place. Highly recommend!

Remains our favourite chill place in Vietnam, as I write this we have just completed our 3rd stay here. I love how close it is to the airport, making a quick get away for a few days from Hanoi easily manageable. Staff: great communication and friendly Spa: Always amazing, so clean and welcoming and I adore the 30m complimentary head rub that came with our room. Pools: Main pool by the horizon bar is very chilled and never too busy. Every time we have gone past the twilight one it seemed much busier with swimmers and photo takers alike Breakfast: one of the best in VN, and we have got through a few in 4 years. Such fresh tasty selection of food. Although I would say please have chilled milk available, warm milk with cereal isn't pleasant Rooms: we have been fortunate enough to enjoy a hillside villa, water lagoon and hillside villa with pool, all were amazing. Lived the private pool in the villa, but then the sunrise from the water lagoon room was amazing. Grounds: the bikes are a great hit to cycle round the grounds either for exercise or simply to get from a to b. Be prepared to a massive amount of bike swapping and dont get too attached to one, chances are it will be swapped out by someone looking for a better one! Food: the restaurant here is perhaps the only thing that let's it down, its not so much the price, you expect to pay higher in a resort, but its not that tasty. The little food stalls outside the resort which it seems most of the resort wat at every night, are great, we love getting fresh grilled prawns and seafood from there every night. This resort is great for a few chill days. There is the option of a free shuttle bus from the resort to the city centre if you need a little more variety, but we chose it for the opposite, to enjoy the fab views and relax for a few days at a time
