Because I travell on a budget I chose this hotel despite of the bad reviews. I discovered that the quality is decent compared to the price I payed. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. I would definetly recomend this hotel for budget travellers.

After following other reviews we were disappointed to arrive at the hotel and find the staff seemed to have a rather unfriendly and unhelpful attitude to customers. No offer of a local map without ,paying no mention of places to see which does help the first time visitor feel welcomed. Facilities seemed jaded and in need of bettef ddcor and repaint. Hotel had quite a few empty rooms which on a fdxtival weekend maybe says something about them needing to try harder. In comparison to all our stays so far where we were met with smiles

This hotel is terrible and ugly, even for the $35 we paid for one night it was like staying in a hospital and reminded me slightly of The Shining with the big long corridors. I expected any moment for some scary ghost children to appear riding those bikes down the hall ways. The staff we unfriendly and unhelpful. The rooms are revolting and nothing like they advertise on the net through agencies. Do not stay here. The hotel was recommended by the DK guide of Vietnam. What a load of crap that book is. It is not helpful and talks rubbish about recommendations, even if it does have nice pictures. Much better to get the Lonely Planet. We were supposed to stay two nights but then on the morning of our second day they said they were fully booked and we had to move even though we were booked for two nights. They also said they'd charge us $20 for baggage left in our room while we tried to find another hotel because the check out time was 12pm. They told us this at 10.30am, only when we appeared at the front desk. They did not bother to call our room to inform us first thing. They were also not apologetic in anyway. The hotel is noisey. It has a disco attached to it, which my boyfriend said he was sure attracted dodgey customers. The staff assured us the music would stop at 11pm. It did not. Do not stay here! It was an awful experience and never buy the DK guide, it talks rubbish.
